Facial fillers are substances that are used to fill and increase the volume of the skin and thus improve deep furrows such as nasolabial facial furrows. Autologous Fat:

Has the ability to retain around a large amount of water contributing to the tissue volume. It is of biological origin (extracts obtained from bacteria culture). The most commonly used brands are: Juvederm ®, Perlane ®, Restilane®, Thyosial® e Hylaform®. These fillers last between 6 meses a 1 year, so then must be reapplied in order to maintain the effect.
Hydroxyapatite Calcio:
It is a synthetic particle consisting of calcium phosphate which is identical to the primary component of teeth and bones, possessing unique long-term biocompatibility and effectiveness characteristics. The Calcium Hydroxyapatite has been used for decades in reconstructive plastic surgery, orthopedics, maxillofacial surgery, dentistry and urology with ample levels of security. This filling can last at least 3 years old. The most common places where it is used are the nasolabial folds (wing of the nose to the angle of the mouth), glabellar lines (between the eyebrows), wrinkles of the cheeks and wrinkles around the lips. The most commonly used brands are: Radiesse® y Beautyfill®.
Filled with silicone and the biopolymers are not used currently because of side effects that cause rejection. Implants should always be placed by specialists in the field such as dermatologists.
